Founded in 1973, Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust® (SAST) has been a torchbearer of educational excellence and social empowerment. The Trust was envisioned and established under the divine guidance of His Divine Soul, Padmabhushana Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanath Maha Swamiji, whose philosophy of education embraced the intellectual, spiritual, and physical growth of every student.
Carrying forward this sacred mission, the Trust has built a vast network of 500+ institutions across India, serving more than 1,00,000 students every year. These institutions nurture talent in diverse fields including Medicine, Nursing, Engineering, Management, General Education, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, and Teacher Education, making SAST a leader in multidisciplinary learning.
Today, the Trust is guided by the visionary leadership of the Chief Pontiff and Chairman, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Maha Swamiji, who continues to expand its horizons while upholding its founding values of service, inclusivity, and excellence.
Our Founding Objectives
The Trust was established with the noble aim of making education and service accessible to all. Its guiding objectives include:

- Establishing schools and colleges in both urban and rural areas to extend learning opportunities to every child.
- Supporting rural education through colleges that empower students from underserved communities.

- Establishing and maintaining hostels, libraries, reading rooms, gymnasiums, and playgrounds to support holistic student development.
- Extending scholarships, loans, and financial assistance to meritorious students pursuing higher education.
- Enhancing public welfare by establishing hospitals, clinics, and dispensaries to provide accessible healthcare.
