This noble legacy is now being carried forward with the same spirit and commitment by the Chief Pontiff & President, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Maha Swamiji, under the auspices of the Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust® (SAST).
The BGS Group of Institutions, including BGS PU College, is guided and administered by our Managing Director, Revered Sri Sri Dr. Prakashanath Swamiji, who continues to lead the institution on the path of academic excellence, values, and service.

With the divine blessings of His Holiness Bhairavaikya Padmabhushana Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji, Sri Sri Dr. Prakashnath Swamiji joined the Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust (SACST) Mutt at the tender age of seven. Since then, he has devoted over four glorious decades to the service of humanity through education, healthcare, and spiritual guidance.
A scholar of Sanskrit and a beacon of discipline, devotion, and dedication, Swamiji’s life reflects deep moral values and an unwavering commitment to uplift society. His compassionate leadership and visionary outlook have transformed the BGS and SJB Group of Institutions into world-class centres of learning and service.
As the Managing Director and Trustee of the BGS Group of Institutions for Health and Education, Sri Sri Dr. Prakashnath Swamiji has been instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing numerous initiatives that continue to impact lives across Karnataka and South India. Under his stewardship, the Trust now serves more than 1,00,000 students and employs over 10,000 staff members, embodying the spirit of service and excellence envisioned by his Guru.
